How we protect this kind of property
We work with houses, condos and HOA communities. At home, what matters is the front door, the driveway and the perimeter: the three places where something actually happens.
Communities add another layer: there's an HOA board, community rules and a property manager who answers for whatever gets installed. We present the proposal in a format the board can review and approve, with the cost per unit if it's shared.
This is also where the industry's worst habit shows up most: installations that leave the owner without the password to their own recorder. Here, passwords are always handed over, in writing.
